Welcome to the Oregon BPS Property Inventory List
Instructions
You may have received a letter or other notification from ODOE that you may own a building subject to the BPS requirements. If you are an owner of a building subject to Oregon's Building Performance Standard and reporting requirements, please follow the steps below to help ODOE determine whether the information we have for you and your building is accurate.
If you received a notification but own a building that you believe is not subject to the BPS (for example, its size is less than the applicable thresholds), please also follow the instructions below to note that you believe your building is not covered by the BPS so that ODOE can review and update your building’s information.
If you received a letter and do not own the building, but are associated with the building, please communicate with the building owner so they may follow the steps below to confirm or update the building’s information.
If you do not own any buildings and have no association to a building that may be subject to the BPS, you do not need to do anything. However, in this case if you received a notification, please contact ODOE to help ensure you do not receive future communications regarding the BPS program.
Steps
- Please create an account using the User Menu (person icon) at the top right of this page.
- Once you’ve received a confirmation email for your account (may take up to 15 minutes), log in to that account using the email and password you entered upon registration.
- Click on the Search button above, then enter either the UBID number (Unique Building Identification) or the property address that is listed in your mailer. Please note: UBID and address entry searches are sensitive to formatting and abbreviations (for example: please include dashes in UBID, address search is sensitive to “St” abbreviation where applicable, etc.)

Review the information listed for the building and either confirm that it’s correct or provide updates, especially for the following:
- Building owner/manager contact information
- Is the correct property type listed? If no property type is listed, please select the most applicable.
- Is the square footage correct? If no square footage is listed, please enter it.
Purpose
The Property Inventory List will help confirm your building's tier and compliance timeline and update the building's contact information. Your account will allow you to view the information that ODOE has regarding your building and provide you with an opportunity to offer updates to this information.
ODOE uses the information from this Property Inventory to help determine which buildings are covered by this standard.
The Property Inventory List is not the mechanism for compliance with Oregon's BPS. Once the compliance management system is published, this Property Inventory will be used to populate the compliance management system with the buildings covered by this standard and to help communicate with building owners who must comply.
